DMZ is even worse than the status quo since a DMZ would allow the YPG to build up his army and procure advanced weapons from the west and confront Turkey in the future. Agreeing to DMZ would give legitimacy to YPG. Turkey has to act now or live with a terror state on its borders for decades and slowly bleed out.

Turkey still needs engines even if TF-X is a success. Britain can block Eurojet from selling to Turkey if there are America sanctions. China won't sell. Russia might but only if Turkey is friendly to Russia.

Well why just UK ? as a member of NATO they can have access to Engine from Europe .. but they have their own Engine program which will bear its fruits sooner than later .. America is still a Powerful Country but they can not blackmail every single country just to bend to their commands and compromise on its national security, When America will never compromise its own National Security for anything or anyone why would they expect others to do so ?
