MULTAN: Senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said that it will be beneficial and not harmful for Pakistan if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif tenders his resignation in Panama scandal.

Speaking to a private TV channel, the veteran leaders said the matter is before the court and let it decide. He, however, said that Nawaz Sharif should set an example for his party by tendering his resignation. The premier should end this impression that he or his family takes all decisions, he added.

He further added that investigation is underway and more details will come out about leak of national security news. He advised 65 plus politicians to form an elder council to educate youngsters of party.

Replying to a query he said that marriage of Imran Khan had taken place on 7th Muharram but it was not opened due to terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He, however, said that Islam and society doesn’t allow such act. He further said that whosoever is elected as American president will be bound to have good ties with Pakistan.
