Nehru's India is officially dead. Americans are busy installing India as the regional policeman which they will control in order to contain China. Australia on the other hand will feel the pinch of its biggest trading partner turning the heat up. Among above three the biggest loser will be the guy in the middle.

This actually proves India being on the good side of karma. Consider this:

1) Manmohan Singh was ineffective in most other respects but getting USA open up in this regard
2) GWB made many mistakes through obstinacy (=unwillingness to change) but that obstinacy saw this through
3) Once NSG opened up, every country now competes to sell to India!

I won't mention the name of India's jealous neighbor because they are irrelevant except when it comes to terrorism, so they can read and weep.

Nobody should complain. I've always been against this sort of a certain group controlling a technology and creating business monopoly.
China has some very good reactor designs and if it helps Pakistan in solving its electricity crisis, why should anybody object.
India too had same objections and later people saw this point and allowed N trade with India.
It not the question of bending some arbitrary NSG laws, these are crooked anyway.
Civil N Trade doesnot provide anybody with UN-monitored re-processing tech. The current IAEA laws are good enough to prevent any misuse. Why shouldn't Civilian N reactors be available to anybody and everybody?
Isn't that what Eisenhower's Atoms for Peace program originally about.

the reason why India got the waiver and Pakistan didn't due to our impeccable record of Non Proliferation and Pakistan's record of proliferation which created new threats..


plus,for waiver,we've to distinguish our civilian and military reactors..Pakistan doesn't have any of such distinction,right??
