No brother, we do not need to bring in anything that is not required. But here's the reason for my reservation against him: If he was just playing politics, then how would we rely on him, and know when is he playing politics and when is he showing his true self? How can we vote for a person when we are unaware of his real self?

every body is playing politics here..i have listened to his speeches and interactions with students and i was impressed with his thoughts..that's why i support him..if tomorrow any serious charges are proven against him i can always withdraw my support.

To tell the truth..Hindu fundamentalism existed pre-independence..but its effect on indian politics and indian populace was minimal..

Shah bano case actually changed that...it became a rallying point..millions of hindus who till then had no interest in religious politics suddenly started to listen to far-right parties...this sudden shift in mass political views ultimately culminated to babri masjid and rise of BJP to power.
