What IF nasser succeeded in destroying Israel , defeating the Arab monarchies and uniting the Arab world ? (after all he united with syria , but it lasted couple of months only and he supported the revolution in Yemen against the saudi backed monarchy )

Can any Arab answer me why is Somalia part of Arab Union? We have lots of Somalis here in Minnesota, and I don't think they share much in common with Arabs and their Native language is Somali not Arabic. So, why it is part of Arab Union?

That's different thing.. U.S.A is not named on 1 ethnic group or race. But Arab Union means you have to be Arab or atleast your first language has to be Arabic? Then why Somalia is the odd man out? It is like making Turkey, Pakistan or Iran part of Arab Union...

Somalia Joint freely to the Arab League in 14.2.1974 while chad which more than 40% of its population main language is arabic did not joined !!!

Well Duh! Those are minorities in Arab countries. The fact is all the Arab countries which are part of Arab League have Arab majority population with the exception of Somalia.

But thanks for answering.. Now I know that Somalia joined Arab league freely...

A very, very strange map indeed. The local language in Sanandaj is Kurdish, in Rasht its Gilaki, in Qazvin and Hamedan its Persian etc etc Clearly the person who drew this idiotic map is not an Iranian and has never been to any of these cities.

i think because there is alot common between the two countrys . . long borders . .same ethnics. . same religion . . same security problems . . Afghanistan Need for Pakistan to trade with the world via the sea . . Pakistan Need Afghanistan as a Virgin land that can accommodate large numbers of people in the future . . etc
