Why Youthful, Conservative Pakistan Is a Coronavirus Bright Spot

Come on guys don't declare victory without knowing the facts.
The health systems of different countries are doing much more testing than pakistan so that's why they are reporting more cases. We are confined to just 22000-25000 tests a day so we are reporting less.
Also I personally believe the extreme heat and humidity also played it's role in decreasing it. But from next month it will again rise .
Though testing is marginally less presently, the positivity rate of tests done is reduced substantially. Hence, there is a genuine reduction in incidence of new infections.

Average is going to be low when way too many infants are going to die each year. I am not going to comment on eating habits/daily routine, because both countries have issues of their own. Also availability of clean water is also an issue in Pakistan. But people do survive with or without diseases, otherwise one can't explain the death-rate(which I assume is of adults, excluding the infants).

voozu/wuzu is NOT ablution, ghusl is, o ignorant one. why use words that are unfamiliar to you?
Really? I thought ghusl referred simply to the cleaning of the nasal and oropharyngeal areas. I thought wudu was very much a full "ablution".

Elderly population is at times 5-6x more than pakistan

. . . . .
I was wrong you and he may have been correct, just searched google and it says that I am confusing matters by mixing up different things thus am mostly wrong (hence the deletion of all my posts from this here thread)
It was bugging me to be honest. But now I'm wondering if there are not in fact two interpretations of "ghusl"? One is the localised cleaning of mouth and nose, the other is the full body wash you referred to previously, also done after death. It's all moot anyway so nothing to pursue.

So let me get this straight. Your claim is, since there aren't much elderly people in Pakistan, so Pakistan has a better survival rate in case of Corona.

Life Expectancy Pakistan: 67% (third world country)
Life Expectancy US: 79% (1st world country)
Life Expectancy Japan: 85% (1st world country)

India: 38k + deaths
Iran: 17+ deaths

I would say life expectancy is an irrelevant thing here too, it has to do more with how the whole crises was/is managed. In no way I am suggesting that older people aren't more vulnerable, all I am saying is we handled the situation well, while even the first world countries did worse in tackling the crises.
