Why would Pakistanis wish to visit India ?

Absolutely. I always advise my American colleagues visiting India to always carry toilet paper and hand sanitizers with them, even when shopping in Khan Market, Delhi
I don't even need to tell anything about pakistan to my American colleagues. They naturally assume pak is a terrorist state and is a breeding ground for terrorists ever since the OBL saga

It has been two years since all road, rail, and air links between India and Pakistan have been severed ( Link ) . The only Pakistanis visiting India are minorities from Pakistan on religious pilgrimage. (We are not discussing a reverse flow of Sikh and Hindu pilgrims from India).

There have been longer instances when travel between India and Pakistan have been suspended , such as from 1971 to 1979.
Unlike previous instances it is remarkable that there are no requests from certain quarters in Pakistan to our government to come to terms with India and renew travel links between the countries. The generation of immigrants interested in traveling to meet relatives back in India is dead.

This is the best thing that has happened over the seven odd decades since our nation was founded. It is not evident that the newer generation of Pakistanis have any inclination to visit India as tourists.

But a question to PDF members here .
Who would be interested in visiting India and if so why ?

I nearly visited India around 3 years ago, because I had promised to attend a friends wedding in Mumbai, as a secondary benefit, I could also see Jinnah sahibs house. But due to personal circumstance I could not submit my VISA application, which I had to submit around 5 months in advance to have any chance of getting an answer.

But having looked at the questions, I was glad a reason appeared for me not to go. On the VISA application they ask everything, you have to bare naked in front of the Indian government , everything about you, your family going make back more then I wish to declare to anyone except the Pakistani government.

Since then and before, I have an open invitation, but because I am not held to a promise, now, I just tell my Indian friends openly there is no chance of me visiting India, unless the visa requirements change, because I have no desire to declare everything about myself to the Indian government.

Besides the visa requirements issue, I would love to visit India, foremost to visit My Jinnah's house, other reasons being the Mandir architecture which I find extremely beautiful, especially in the south and central regions of India. The Kerala backwaters, and the western Ghats, plus the north-east of India, which I think is just stunning.

Not interested as long as the situation for Muslims is as bad as it is. To be quite honest I wouldn't have any problems with Indians when they would be nicer to their Muslim population. But for this both parties need to forget a millenia old rivlary and this is not gonna happen. Muslims and Hindus are too different to be put together in one nation. Feel-good slogans are useless to overcome facts.

In a Muslim-friendly India I really would like to see the Agra, Kerala, Delhi, Bombay and Calcutta. Maybe in 2050 or 2060 when Muslim have better numbers in India :D.

You should rather be advising them on what to carry when visiting pakistan don't you think? By the way do someone even wants to visit pakistan these days after seeing the great hospitality that the Sri Lankan cricket team received in your country?

No. I have been to 42 countries so far and lived in 3 but I have no interest in visiting India ever. Bangladesh I'd like to visit someday.

Given the animosity between the countries, it is prudent to be safe so that no undesirable (possible spy / terrorist) enters. I am sure Pakistan shows similar reciprocity in its visa application for Indians.

India should open a world class hospital in Amritsar and create a medical corridor for Pakistanis (similar to Kartarpur corridor).

Build toilets for your own people first. Why the fvck would ordinary Pakistanis want to visit India LOL

Dothead aman ki asha brigade would want to visit Hindustan.

and what do you advise them for Pak visit? do they even visit Pak?
They do. Military types mostly . Cant give details. Toilets are clean in Pakistan. See Karl Rocks VLog.
( Point 8:00)

you mean any Indian, right?
Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Muslim etc

Indian Muslims or Christians are not allowed. A limited number of Pakistani Muslim nationals are allowed from the Pakistan side for support and maintenance purposes.

Do you have a toilet fetish?

Not talking about military people or vloggers but common Americans for tourism or business.

So Pakistan does check the religion and only allows Hindus and Sikhs from India in Kartarpur?
You should learn to use one dothead.
what does that even mean? Do you mean 'bindi' ?

I apologise if my answer appears rude, but that's a rather silly point of view, because any of those actors do not visit by applying for VISA.

My mum applied for Indian visa around 15 years ago. She was going as part of an elderly group, everyone except the Pakistanis were accepted so the trip was cancelled. That's ridiculous and shameful.

Pakistan did have the same requirements, but the Imran Khan government has change the requirements for Indians who hold a foreign passport, my mother and myself have held a foreign passport since the 1980's.

So, let's see.

Believe me I have been there. Without any offense to our Indian guests here there isn't that much to see, unless the grave of a dead woman of a feudal luxury loving monarch is of interest to you.

The real India lies with its people, not in derelict monuments made into tourist traps. ,Mingling with left wing Indians over coffee and pakodas and discussing every thing on earth is a very pleasant experience . It is the people that are fascinating. If you don't know anyone and want to be the camera toting tourist then think again. It is not worth it.
So far as natural beauty is concerned, we have got it all .

No need to apologize for this. You narrated an event from your experience and it was not rude.

India has been specially paranoid about anyone having any link to Pakistan. David Headley came to India legally through VISA but used that trip for reconnaissance before the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

370 will never be reinstated, second thing Kashmiris need to protected from you people who sponsored terrorism in there. There was no militancy in Kashmir before you started it in 90s. Lastly we don't want you in our country either. You can go anywhere you want provided those countries let you in. Pakistani passport is among topmost worst passports in the world to travel with and no one wants you in their country.

Sour grapes is it? Certainly we are much happier visiting other countries and visiting India is never been on my list and many others like me, so your remarks doesn't cut any ice with me. Enjoy living in your make belief word of fantasy.
