According to an interview at the IDEF '23 by the TAI boss Prof Temel Kotil, the Turkish Military Industrial Complex badly needs engineers to immensely expand its production capacity. The fresh grads are most welcome. The Turkish universities aren't producing enough. Hence, Pakistan with 250 million "hungry and angry" [stay hungry, stay foolish] folks is a natural choice for recruiting engineers with a solid knowledge of English. Pakistani students start learning English at an early age. Moreover, a million students are enrolled in schools that follow the British curriculum (O levels exams after the 10th grade, and A levels exams after the 12th grade are conducted from England. These exams are damn tough). And, engineering is quite a popular choice for the high school grads. And, the Pak folks' are fast learners with a quite high natural IQ....

And, Pak is a voracious "collector" of quality defense equipment. It's never enough for her to keep the balance vis-à-vis a 7x larger arch enemy whose day dream is to run through her defenses. As for the finances to the tune of $200b/year, the Pak Deep State has the following sources:
  • 100% narcotic Afghanistan with the CIA running the show at the helms
  • 100% sanctioned Iran having the most porous border with Pakistan
  • 100% money laundering UAE under the auspices of the London bankers
  • 100% control over the undocumented domestic economy (=70% of the total Pak economy)
  • etc.

Last but not the least is the Chinese connection that Pak has groomed over the last 70 years. The Pak-China cooperation in the defense fields has produced a number of wonderful products. The Pak participation and manufacturing set-ups come with the following benefits to circumvent the increasingly tightened Western sanctions on Turkey:
  • Semiconductor devices and ICs of all sorts. China is breaking one bottleneck after another as the Western blockade in this sector is mounting higher
  • Semiconductor manufacturing equipment and raw materials. China is striding to be self-sufficient at a very fast pace
  • Precision engineering equipment
  • Advanced manufacturing lines for mass production
  • Classified materials
  • Test and characterization equipment of all sorts
  • Etc.

Establishment reading this would be confused on whether to take this as an insult or a compliment 😂

A half-baked Pak is better than no Pak....

If the Turkish Defense companies can get hold of the Pak brains, which cause the following analysis vis-à-vis Pak from a sane Indian mind, it should serve more than they're asking for...

Pakistanis work ethics and education could really benefit Turkey

also Pakistan has alot of experience in areas where Turkey lacks for example ballistic missile and nuclear

Pakistan and Turkey should join forces but issue here is how much can Pakistan fund ? you need deep pockets and Turkey can't be expected to pay for everything

also Pakistan needs a long term strategic guidance something Turkey has and Pakistan does not

Pakistan needs institutional reform to see any true positive changes, even these collaborations are going to be useless and countries are more likely to be turned off by working with us

Let meritocracy thrive, and let go of nepotism and your ego. Military men with unjustified superiority complexes trying to order around men in their own fields of expertise only make things worse, not better.

pakistan can provide cheap manpower, and production facilities. esp in the electronics sector. not so much on the materials side. but the military should and must understand that any breakthrough will come from private industries. they should only act as matchmakers between the private players and turkish industry.

for example NASTP and GreenAI, combined, will be provided 5.6 billion rupees from public sector development funds, paid for by civil taxes and loans, yet the control will remain with the military. had NASTP only been a project management initiative, with projects and benefits (tax holidays, cheap land etc something along the line of special technology zones initiative) going to private players, the results would have been awesome.

exactly. ease of doing business is another issue. one has to go to numerous ministries and offices for one approval or the other to setup anything. the complexity increases if one is looking to set up a defense export company.

It is better for Pak Engineers and Scientist to head to Turkey, instead of being handed
over to Americans by ISI. Just like they sold Afia Siddiqui who held a PHD for 55
thousand dollars, along with her 3 children.

ISI has picked up many engineers and scientist and handed them over to America.
My message for engineers and scientist is head to Turkey whilst you can or any other
Muslim Country.

This is all true but Pakistan needs Turkyie more to fix its economy and elevate social and overall infrastructure conditions.
Those proceses should go parallel in order to deliver best possible outcomes.

Turkey doesn't need Pakistan just like China doesn't need Pakistan. Pakistan needs to fix its own problems instead of believing others 'need' it. Be more like ur friends the chinese and rely on yourself and believe in your own strength.
