Why the gold price is falling

LOL... Indian Government is enjoying this ...

The two biggest Import Bill of India i.e Oil and Gold has reduced ... This is a blessing for Modi Government ...
:smitten:

But this would trigger in a opposite way in India ... now Indian Family would start Buying gold like crazy ... and I see Raghuram Rajan buying more gold from IMF...

what ever its Happy Days for India ... :yahoo:

.
Land properties are also not that safe now a days ,at least in kerala.
High value of the land is now become a curse.:D So business are in a dull.
But I dont know about other states.
Land is worth the risk if you plan to develop it. :)

.
One dollar is about Rs63 today.

I do not invest much in gold, it's dead money + Unlike other mallus I don't like it much. I stopped investing in diamonds when realised it gives me 30% loss. Buying properties is a better option in India. Lol
Why don't you invest in Indian Share markets...........Prices of Properties in Kerala has come down due to crash of Rubber prices..............In share markets you can invest as SIP..................or you can try Mutual Funds too...................

Not a shares and mutual funds person.
I (as in most in my immediate family) find it safe to invest in land, properties etc. :)

I know your reservations on Share market.............Its with all Malayalis........to invest in Real Estate you need huge amount of money ............Malayalis like me who work in India are helpless.........so i advice all my colleagues and friends to invest in Mutual Funds or Share market............and that too as SIP........i advice you too to start small investment say Rs 5000 in Mutual funds as SIP for 5 years.......and if you need ay help i will be there(free of cost)............Real Estate attracts Taxes , Short term & Long term Capital Gain.............and if you sell you Shares after 1 year you need not pay ay Tax

Another mallu???

......

I'm apprehensive about investing in shares because I heard Share prices fluctuate depending on a number of factors such as the performance of the company, the economy, demand and supply factors. If the company's profits fall, the dividend will fall and if the company makes a loss it may not be able to pay any dividend. If the share prices fall, their value lessens and if the company collapses or becomes insolvent, the shares become worthless. If the company goes into liquidation, shareholders are the last to be paid after all other creditors and so on and on....
Value of Land on the other hand doesn't depreciate (under normal circumstances) , and if you plan to develop it then the profit increases by a huge margin. That's my take on it.

Yes i have been on PDF since 2010...............
Share Market is no Rocket Science.
I started my investments in Share Market Accidentally. I come under 30% bracket of income tax and 2010 you could save Rs 6000/- by investing Rs 20000/-in Infra Bonds, for this i opened a Demat account.I had Mutual fund investments from 2006 in SIP (Systemic Investment Plan). After 6 months of opening Demat Account, I planned to invest in Shares.I selected Shares like TATA Motors, Dabur, HDFC Bank,Arvind, Berger Paint,Cummins,Seimens,Cipla etc. I have some 18 shares in m Kitty other than 2 mutual funds. Non of these companies are going to collapse or become insolvent.

My Shares values are almost Double from 2013,and all my companies pay annual dividend.Only thing is you have select good sectors & good shares.
Indian Economy is a Growth Story . This growth story is long and is to continue minimum 5% annually for 30 to 50 years till India get developed
