why SU 30 MKK is expensive?

Why SU 30 MKK(Chinese version) is more expensive like $10 million than Su 30 MKI as latter one is much more advanced with Thrust vectoring and Western Avionics ? Any ideas??

P.S 53$ million MKK , 45$ million for MKI

MKK 53 mil $ if imported directly from russia

MKI ~65 mil$ if imported directly from russia

it is 45 mil if produced at HAL...

The MKI didn't come with western avionics so we can take that out of the equation, i also want to add that people miss use the term "western avionics" when talking about the MKI because most of the avionics are still Russian.



I also don't know how accurate the prices are, i know the MKI is cheap because it is manufactured in India but i don't know about the MKK.

western....it has chineese avionics and russian avionics from other vendors than who were involved in su-20mki...eg: bar radar....

Chinese have complained that Su-30MKK is both expensive and inferior than Su-30MKI. Russia overcharged Chinese but I think the Chinese got back to them by using Su-29 as a model for J-11B. Probably Chinese would also be using Su-30MKK technologies for their future fighters.
