US has been a burden on the Chinese economy, it has leeched off the savings of the Chinese economy without China getting reward for it. The value added from Chinese trade with the US is nil for China. US never exported technology and its markets are closed for Chinese companies. The US companies used China to bring down their cost but that never benefitted the Chinese people or the Chinese economy. Only now that Chinese companies are coming up have China started to benefit. It is China that has propped up the entire US ponzi scheme economy by buying US debt and absorbing US inflation.
Trade is a tiny contributor to the overall Chinese economy. China is an investment and consumption economy for decades.
US contributed absolutely nothing to the Chinese economy. China was growing 6-8% way before 1978. After 1978 China pursued a different model of economy. Joining the WTO was the single biggest mistake for China as it destroyed domestic companies and gave vulture companies from the West full access to the massive Chinese market at the expense of Chinese companies.
Nobel Laureates are nothing but political prizes, invention does not equal Nobel prizes. These are propaganda prizes given to Westerners.
