Ordinary people may believe the fantasy of NATO 'success' in Afghanistan, but the reality is just the opposite. Most independent analysts believe the Taliban will regain control of large parts as soon as NATO leaves. The US has gone from a haughty "we don't negotiate with terrorists" to a conciliatory "let's sit down and talk with the Taliban to form a coalition government".

Its surely not 1992-96 period when world didn't care about Afghanistan.

What a unlikely group but reality.

And now Taliban gets full support from Russia agains Western Emperializm. The talk of Putin is just a theater piece. The real question must be where the found sources in Afganistan worth more than a trillion dollar will be go to?
