Why PTI lost

Exactly, all these analysts want to forget that massive rigging took place.

In the past only 30% voters came out to vote. This time it was like 60%. Twice the number of voters didn't come out to vote for PML-N, they came out for PTI.

Fakhru bhai should be charged for Zina bil Jabar of the ECP.

Its strange that people think Pti should be the winner but Pti accepting that Pmln won the most number of seat

and last time the turnout was 45 % this time it is 55%. get your facts right before making some statements

I think they did better than expectations of most people.

Most surveys thought he would win 30 seats... but getting 7.7 million votes means they could have got much more seats but they lost few seats with close margin.

From scratch to they have become the second largest political party in Pakistan in terms of votes. They were the second largest party in Punjab, second largest party in most populous cities of Pakistan including Karachi, were second in 80% of the constituencies of Pakistan and managed to win from one province of Pakistan.

Imagine 0 to 7.7 million votes... imagine another 5 years and they might have 15 million votes...

It's a remarkable achievement by PTI and there is no such example exists in Pakistan.

Five years is an eternity in politics. Much can happen till the next elections, a lot of it unknown.

Indeed, next time they won't be campaigning as a newbie or change... They will be relying upon the progress they have made in K-P. So I wish them best of luck for that

I would wish them luck too, but there is no other way to accept that their loss in this election represents a lost opportunity for Pakistan, one that may or may not be available again in five years.

Pakistanis have been swindled by almost every politician that has taken control of the country.

They wouldn't know a good competent and honest leader if it hits them in their face.

Just read some of the posts here by PMLN supporters, it is the height of stupidity. They live in a cloud cukoo land. They think their politics is like UK, USA. No its not, it is one the most corrupt and Ghadari in the world. It is full of thiefs, murderers and liars. That is Pakistani politics and that is what the whole world sees apart from us.

Until we get rid of this mindset we will never rise.

man proposes and God disposes...the imran khanies should be grateful....the country is practically ungovernable now...no money, no law and order [police/renagers], no anti corruption [NAB, IB etc], no industry [electricity from the most expensive fossil fuel around--oil--no which moron thought up this idea--they should find him, tar and feather him and give him 100 lashes a day at noon in the summer heat every day fro the rest of his life [or their lives],...whoever takes over now will get all the blame regardless of whose fault is was to begin with.....

Because PPP was blessed by the dictator Ayoub Khan (daddy he used to call him?)... PML-N was blessed by dictator Zia ul Haq (he praised him until 1999 and Zia too called him son if I am not wrong)

Whereas PTI was the only political party who rose by their own struggle. I still consider PTI to be the only major political and democratic party in Pakistan.

Dil behlanay ko ghalib yeh khiyaal acha hey... Losers make excuses and winners make adjustments...

According to Haroon Rashid Journo (well known PTI supporter) PTI lost due to incompetent decision makers and distribution of tickets to wrong people mostly corrupt elements.

Well it reminds me of Fozia Kasuri and story of NA-55 where PTI had enough support to win but instead of giving ticket to PTI candidate they helped Sheikh Rasheed to get elected for 7th time and there are 100's of examples of PTI incompetence and fraud.

I think this "rigging" drama won't last long the way PTI lost in election, their dirty politics will also get expose one day.
