Why PTI is doing politics on Fuel Prices or inflation? What happened to corruption?

During almost 4 years of PTI govt (3 year 10 months to be precise), everything got very very expensive,

Food items got expensive.
Electricity got expensive.
PTI govt kept increasing petrol prices
Dollar from 115 to 185

For comparison check the car prices in 2017 and in 2019 but now in 2022 even more expensive.

Toyota Corolla Altis Grande X CVT-i 1.8 in 2017 was PKR 2549000 and now in 2022 it is 4899000. That is insane price increase.

Toyota Fortuner you can get in 2017 for 53 Lacs but now its 1 crore+.

Prices now in 2022:

Buddy the price increase you have quoted was caused due to necessary devaluation of money. Pakistani government was getting loans to buy dollars, and increase dollar supply in the Pakistani market to hold the rate of dollar at an artificially low level. PTI did not cause this inflation. PTI stopped using loans to artificially hold dollar value. So brought the market at a market equilibrium price. Since cars use a lot of imported parts, the automobile manufacturers responded by increasing the car prices. Previously when you bought a car, you got it CHEAPER as the state was taking 30-40% of the price on itself. Pakistan was getting more in debt while you were getting cheaper cars just in the name of "promoting local businesses". Free floating of dollar was a good step and it was demanded by IMF itself. The state was basically spending a large amount of its loans to provide huge subsidy on everything imported! This is why even manufacturing of Bata flip flops was shifted to China! As importing it at concessional rate of dollar was more profitable than manufacturing it locally or the difference was just not worth the effort! Free floating of dollar helped us kill local manufacturing, while prompting non-value added import based businesses.

PTI is talking about inflation right now which is caused by a deliberate act of not buying cheaper fuel from Russia. PTI itself previously fixed a deliberate act of subsidising dollar while making the state poorer. Both types of inflation are not the same. What PML-N is doing is a shit show. And what PTI did was showed real okaat of our economy to our people. P.S. IMF has no requirement of not buying oil from Russia, whereas devaluation of dollar was a requirement for IMF contract.
