Pakistan is made "backward" by design of those in charge of it, the useless, corrupt, visionless, nepotistic, ignorant, backward, selfish, egoistic etc. Pakistani "elites". No need to mention who they are and where they can be found. Pakistani bureaucracy is just one of their many gifs and inventions in a long list of epically "brilliant" ideas and inventions.

Just 10.000 well-educated Pakistanis in the diaspora with their hearts in the right place could do a 100 times better job if given the change to manage most Pakistani affairs.

The solution to this ongoing and decade long mess that Pakistan faces is also clear.

Unfortunately people that do not want to make sacrifices (hard toO) to change the status quo will be at the mercy of those in power changing. Sad as it is.

Committing and tolerating the same mistakes again and again and expecting a different outcome is called insanity.
