IAF DOES NOT have air superiority either numerical or technological over the PAF. The operational strength is roughly a third of what the PAF can put in the air. At best. But it won't be. For long.

and I hope there comes a point in future when both airforces dont need to put down each other.

As long as you have 5th gen Short range Missile with IRST, you will have a good chance at F-22.

Probably because only russian or soviet jets have tried to cross into pakistani territory in history. Be it soviet union, Russia or India. It's mostly russian origin planes.

American nato and european aircraft always take permission before entering pakistani air space and keep their transponders on. Only once we had a chance to shoot down american helicopters when they came in into KPK provimce from afghanistan but those choppers were stealth helicopters designed to fail comventional radar locks. So
Mostly russian jets threatened us and gave us oppertunity mostly in soviet times secondly by indian air force

You will see american or european fighter jets being shot down by PAF once they threaten Pakistan. So far only ome incident with usa happened in kpk
