Why is the word "Sindh" included in india's national anthem?

Why is the word "Sindh" included in india's national anthem?
Unlike Bengal, punjab and kashmir; no part of Sindh is controlled by india.

It just shows that india does not accept the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan

Its a cultural thing. Kind of like why Pakistani anthem is heavily Persian :lol::lol::lol:

Our forefathers were not as narrow minded as we have become.
 
We are India..the largest nation of the Indian subcontinent.. representatives of the maximum population of Indian subcontinent and perhaps the only representative of the original Indian civilization.

Except for the fact that the Indus river flows primarily in Pakistan. It's not exactly a defining feature of 'India'. A name like Gangia would make a lot more sense.

Which is an another point to the fact, that India as a nation predates the present map of India.
