Why is presidential system impossible in pakistan?

This is the need of the time. But with economic and other problems this step can go horribly wrong...
But I still hope that Imran khan do it no matter what... Do it once and correct our direction .
Imran khan may have political damage but do it for the country..
Prliamentary system can only work in ethnically same and small country like England and Scotland. Cannot work in a country like Pakistan or India..
We always give the example of india as world biggest democracy but they too have the same problems even more grave then us but their have accepted them as it is.
Democracy is working in india but not performing.

This is really the gist of it. IK is not the magician we made him out to be. There's no magic wand. But he's at least the first brick to a better road. We need to be satisfied with that. Fortunately, unfortunately - that is all we have to work with right now.

And if you're not satisfied, do something about it.
There is no shortcut to succuss and path leading to it is often the most difficult..

in Pakistan everything is possible ..................

Hailing from a smaller province I have serious reservations about a presidential form of government. Due to Punjab's numerical advantage it would mean that the president will always be a Punjabi.

publicly elected President and Vice President

President system will bring major changes if implemented properly.

1) Smaller provinces (8 to 9 provinces)
2) Governors (publicly elected) in provinces
3) Improved judicial systems
4) Major anti-corruption and money laundering laws.
4) New TAXNET system
5) New police system
6) No guarantee on government jobs, jobs based on performance, government employees can be fired from job if not performing.
7) Universal Education and Health care policy
8) Abolishment of 18 amendment
9) New improve provincial system
10) Devaluation of power and better local body system.
11) Directly handing over Development funds to Districts so it can be distributed to cities, town and villages within that district.
12) transparency on ever government level

We need an overhaul of the political structure in Pakistan. The way it should be is :-

Chief of Staff of PA (or PA preferred ex-general) should be president
Civilian Prime Minister

This is the only that will work. It will prevent coups and martial laws , keep the corrupt civilians in check and a ready boot for failing PMs.

Presidential system is not possible because ppp pmln and all other parties are not going to support it all these parties will have no future in presidential system
