It's been 8 years he's been in a coma, not clinically dead...

I'm just wondering I find it sort of odd...is there a reason to this?

Why they don't do so? Every person would try to keep the patient alive in this situations as long as it is medically possible. It is not surprising ;)

I am not very good with medical stuff, but as far as I know If he can still remember some stuff, it means that there is still hopes that he could be treated.
I am confused...If he is in comma how do you know he can remember something or not? :undecided:

He suffered a stroke...how's that rare....

.
BTW, according to the news he suffered a brain hemorrhage which by any means is not "rare"....can anyone give me more details please?

They said they were surprised to discover significant activity in relevant parts of his brain in response to all tests.

Many comma victims give responses so what makes him special?

He can't he's in an induced coma...some brain activity though...he can try signaling some things or react to some things at most.

There are many different cases, for example, you can bring some of patients perfumes, if he responded to it, for example by pressuring your hand a little bit, you would know that the patient still recognizes and remembers his perfumes. The brain is not completely off in coma.
