Why does the state of Israel love India so much? And why does India return the feelings? Looking at it from the outside there does not seem to be much in common between a Hindu nation and a Jewish nation. I am trying to get a better feel for countries that make odd couples. israelies love india becuase india was the onli nation jews were never prosecuted for their relegous beleves till british came to india

Not according to BBC. India has 22/34 Unfavourable view of Israel and Israel 9/34 which is in fact the second worst only after Pakistan. Majority didn't even have a view of each other.
So much for 'love'
