Why is China trying to bully its neighbors?

.
I like how Chinese "cherry-pick" something and try to sell that with the hopeless expectation that people will buy it. The CCP claimed the Spratlys and its surrounding atolls starting in 1968, principally by using military force. China (and its precursor entities) NEVER had any history before that time claiming them. Furthermore, China's present claims violate the UNCLOS and the 200 mile EEZ of the Philippines. Use of military force to justify claim you never had before just hardens the opposing side's behavior and it makes your claim look weak in front of the international community.

I'm talking about how Chinese call Turks "terrorists" when thats the direct opposite of what ordinary Turks believe in. It's like other people generalizing Chinese people by calling them Triads. Chinese wouldn't appreciate that at all so theres no reason for Chinese to do the same thing to other countries. If Chinese people want to behave like that towards people from other countries, then they shouldn't complain when they get the same treatment.

You're right with the fact that people should respect other people's life. Unfortunately, a LOT of Chinese look at Pinoys as a "plague". If thats how Chinese like to act towards Pinoys, thats okay as long as Chinese people know that it negatively affect people's opinions that don't have conflicts or have very good relationships with your country. Btw, its an "overall issue" because thats how its sliding towards right now with continued Chinese military aggression and that special brand of Chinese racism towards other countries that are refusing to agree with China.

Very good points !

Bullying only gets you so far unless the opposing side have weapons too. If anything you Pinoys should stop sitting on your laurels and start realizing the fact that people from other countries wish to do you harm. Complaining about it does nothing. You probably aren't lazy yourself, but its other Pinoys that aren't helping for their own individual profit. That worsens problems that are unique to the Philippines. That doesn't mean becoming a Socialist country like Venezuela. It's the exact opposite. Figure out whats wrong with your country and if you have to, hire foreigners that have special skills that could help your country. All Pinoys should stop accepting graft and corruption in your government and push them to address your countrie's problems. You Pinoys have a democracy. Use it. If you have to, copy other countries models to get what you want. Nobody will fault you for it. All this doesn't come overnight and neither is there a secret recipe. It takes decades of hard work and efforts that people in your country wouldn't like to start since they would think its too difficult. When your country finally does this, only then will your country realize what it means to be a Pinoy. What does come overnight, is how your allies and adversaries see the Philippines. I have said enough. Hopefully, I got my point across.

Well said @sEoulman556 !

Honestly China can be best described as a BULLY with NO BRAINS.

That's why Pinoy-land always excel in PISA tests while China regretfully suffers at the bottom (Sarcasm intended).

I think i am putting the thread other way around....How many powerful nations are there who by someway or the other do not bully with other nations....The point is although India is a victim of China and its bully behaviour...but i personally respect China...and its rise to world scene...they made their way in the world power league by their own hard work and eagerness to rise ....which is missing from my country...

Although it is not a good thing...but again..all the powers in the region does it.....

China will follow the U.S. path, so does India in the future, as big powers, it's inevitable.
