Why is China still a developing country?

I think Vietnam and China's exports are not mutually exclusive. What China and Vietnam produces and sells are quite different. I think low-end industries that have started to leave China for less regulated and cheaper labor producing countries does not directly threaten China's manufacturing or jobs.

Trump and TPP also dont buy "high end" CN products. For example: VN can sell Vinfast car to TPP market, but NO TPP nations will buy CN cars

China is an exception among all so-called developing countries.
China could be a developing developed country.
China's poorest province has high-speed railways, larger expressway network than entire Supa Powa 2012.
China has higher healthy life expectancy than Trump Land.
You can say China is developing and developed at the same time.
But China will be a developing country for at least half a century.

Vinfast, but not so fast, my friend. It takes years to have indigenous, mature technologies. It take even more years to capture foreign markets. Especially when it comes to automobiles. That area is extremely competitive.

It is definitely a more pragmatic way to keep being a developing country under official definition. But, unofficially, I agree that China already shows lots of developed country characteristics.

what I mean is that: even Vinfast car may not so good, but it still can be sold on TPP market when Cn car wt super quality also still can not sell in TPP.

TPP and US just want to make CN economy collapse, so we dont buy CN products no matter how cheap-good your products are, thats it.
