Why India’s Andaman Islands Could Be the New Maldives

Speaking of boat cruises, I recently went on one in Goa. Good heavens, why are Indians such noisy people? And that Bollywood noise whilst a pack of men dance in the center? Can't Indians understand that a cruise is supposed to be a quite affair where people are supposed to enjoy the peace and quite of the cruise??

People would have taken you seriously if you hadn't married an Indian.
Now this will just get brushed aside as rants of a married lady.

Even the idiot Guju asked me if he could go dance. One look is all it took

If only that one look could undo the primal instinct of an Indian to dance. But good to know you trained him well that he asks first.

It's the Pakistani in me my dear Hamid. Makes me a natural born controller of the Indian :D

You have no right nor authority nor the legal argument to enforce a way of life onto them which they have shunned for 60 000 years intentionally.

Would you say the same about the Kalash people in Pakistan ??

It would be bad to open up Andamans for tourists, its already having tourist pressure from lots of indians flocking in there, the load of tourists can be seen in form of plastic wastes around the islands. Rather govt should work towards preserving the pristine nature of islands as much as possible so that future generations could have something to look upon to find real nature.

Sorry I disagree with you. Tourism is considered a green economy and its benefits are far reaching. If you are against tourism due to the accumulating plastic waste then you should find a solution to that, which could be banning plastic bags on the island, setting up rubbish bins and hire bin trucks to pick up the rubbish multiple times daily. Also you can put fines on littering like they do in Western countries.

As Mel Brook's song says. "When You Got It, Flaunt It"

it was a joke mate
To you it may have been a joke. But it's very feasible that the guys in the govt may do anything for a quick buck

It's not just plastic waste but it's the building resorts and the extensive use and throw stuff. Definitely there is a pressure on land

Sorry mate, can't help you against d**khead politicians.

For every problem there is a solution, but taking away the livelihood of the local people is not the right one.
