Why Indian Soldiers were beaten in Ladakh

As can be seen in the video below Indian soldiers brutally attacked a Chinese soldier in Ladakh. The Chinese soldier was on the ground with severe head injuries, with Indian soldiers standing over him and beside him: laughing, insulting and preventing him from moving with a bloody riot shield which was placed on top of the victim. The Chinese soldier was in bad shape and barely able to move , being abused by the Indian soldiers in clear violations of the protocol agreed with the PLA. It is clear that the Chinese soldier had come out of his vehicle which was parked on the track and had been subsequently attacked by the Indian forces who heavily outnumbered him. The Indian soldiers armed with metal rods and poles and can be seen vandalising the Chinese vehicle and shouting "beat them, beat them" to soldiers beyond the vehicle. Indian soldiers are not administering any medical aid to the injured Chinese soldier and are preventing the Chinese soldier from recovering.

As Chinese soldiers in the distance come to the rescue of their comrade the Indian soldiers can be seen throwing rocks at them. At beginning of the video and at 1:44min into the video an Indian soldier can be seen brandishing a spear made with a knife or a blade of some kind and is seen holding it in the air. The Indian soldiers then start throwing rocks at approaching Chinese soldiers who came to rescue their comrade. A truly disturbing and despicable behaviour by the Indians which triggered the Chinese response which lead to the death of over 20 Indian soldiers.
