For your information, I have interactions with Indian Muslims regularly. They are damn ignorant.
Despite knowing the full reality of what is happening in India to them, they keep denying it.
Instead they would in discussion with furor toe the same line toed by the Indian Hindus that Pakistan is a terrorist state and it is interfering in Kashmir.

You on the other hand are cooking a different meal here, by saying that the Indian Muslims are let down by Pakistan. Don't try to fool anyone, and don't try to change the topic.

The problem for Indian Muslims is that they don't have the balls, instead of standing up to the Hindu bullies they try to hide behind the wall of "Secularism". While I understand the emotion and wish for Indian Muslims to be somehow Pakistani deep down, we first need to look at the state of our country. Millions and millions of people living in abject poverty, we should better focus on them.

For the first time in history I think we have a government who wants to do something for the impoverished and ignored millions.

As for Muslims in neighbouring countries, why don't we talk about Biharis? they are expressly Pakistani and being punished for it since 1971. If anyone deserves our attention and sympathy, its them. I wish our government would take steps to repatriate them to Pakistan, give them citizenship and accommodate them.

1. Where did I say Muslims are the only victims?
2. Muslims aren't getting 'concessions' in the countries you mentioned. Minorities are treated equally in many Muslim states.
3. In Pakistan people don't ignore such issues, the high court rescued anD handed by a Christian girl very recently, and the case of the two Hindu girls is still ongoing.
4. Of course everything is important, and yes some Pakistanis do ignore other things at the expense of faith, which shouldn't be happening, but things are getting better in this regard.
5. No one is cherry picking here, such incidents are now common place, you are one of the few nations on this planet that has a religious right-wing government in power, that itself is very telling.

Yes things have gone backward and steps are being taken to rectify that, but the exact thing can be said about tolerance in India as well.

Anyway I suggest you quote others, I can't help Indian Muslims nor do I believe I should poke my nose into your affairs, I'll leave it to you. My post related to British citizens and I also mentioned that Indian Muslims are patriotic.

Just to clarify on my point 2. I am referring to us (Muslims) asking freedom of worship/ freedom of attire (Burkha etc), need to have separate civil courts with Shariya, freedom of Azaan (through loudspeakers) etc. but I don't think we allow non-Muslims such concessions in Muslim majority countries ( I once travelled to Saudi so can quote itas an example).

On point 3, I guess it would be unfair to sum-up treatment of minorities in Pakistan over last 70 years (or in general) with these two examples. Demographic data on the population of non-Muslim communities (Hindus/Christians/other) in Pakistan vs. India, from independence till now, speaks for itself.

5. "You are one of the...", if you mean India...it is not my country. Though I do have some affiliation to it from my mother's side (relations) but my I am a 3rd gen Kiwi whose Grandfather migrated here in late 50s.

Lynchings is very very bad and India will recover from it. We are a law of the land and I really hope culprits will be prosecuted. But rules apply to all. If Beef is banned in some Indian states, its the responsibility of all citizens to follow the law of the land. More Muslims get killed in Pakistan in one single bomb blast than the whole number of Muslims killed in last 5 years due to hate crimes. So its our land, our country.

I will take his words on the sufferings of indian muslims due to the actions of pakistanis.

The attitude of the pakistanis is shameless over this issue---.We brag about one thing against india---100 muslims are thrashed in india---one hindu is killed in pakistan---10 times are killed in india---. One hindu woman raped in pakistan---10 times muslim women raped in india---.

I have always stated on the issue---if there is a war that needs to be fought---then fight a war---but empty threats and rhetoric have decimated the identity of the indian muslims---.
