Appreciate that the visit has been analysed through a China-centric lens and of course, that's the focal point right now, but invariably we should also think about what role or dimension could Pakistan have been brought up in these meetings. The obvious being the current ongoing ops along the border with Iran, which must be hurting a lot of state and non-state actors, who do not want CPEC to succeed and the province of Balochistan to be peaceful, for the national treasures it has.

Sir india has nothing to offer compare to 400 billion chinese investment. Iran is now part of OBOR where as india is expected to enter Asian NATO hence completely entering in US camp

Iran's interest is with china and Russia . India stopped buying it's oil and slashed 2/3 of chahbahar budget and Iran noted it.

Iran should pay India in money for giving railways project to China..... India worked hard to develop chabar and even many times offended USA for our friendship and now when the cake is ready China getting first piece with cherry to bite??? Not done...... Yes that’s why we have sent our ministers to Iran, to “demand” funds. After seeing our ministers come to their doorstep, the Iranians would not be able to resist our powers of in-person persuasion!

Actually this is bad for Iran's image. Whereas Iranians should have been the first to support Pakistan and Kashmiris, it took China to get them to move away from India.

Bitter rivalry in Afghanistan and loss of depth has really hurt Iranian influence in the region.

Now Iran is in the same league as KSA, UAE, Bahran, Oman, Kuwait, and similar countries which put their economic interests before their conscience.

Lost opportunity for Iran, but big gain for Pakistan.
