Why india has more respect for Russia than any other nations..

Russia has a good reputation as a friend nation in India
But there are still a few points which every Indian supporter of Russia would mention

1. Russia is the big brother of India to keep bullies like USA and China away from India.
2. It's the country which helped India's ambitious space programme by helping us launch satellites and sending our first astronaut (or cosmonaut , as Russians say) Rakesh Sharma into space.
3. It's the country which kept USA and China at their helms during Bangladesh Liberation war and Kargil war
4. It's the country which sent their navy to Indian ocean when USA tried bullying India during Bangladesh Liberation War.
5. It was the first major superpower who approved of Indian nuclear programme.
6. It's the country which shares deep scientific knowledge ranging from space technologies to nuclear plants with India. (Bramhos, kudankulam nuclear power plant, etc)

sadly our leaders today are more pro-America than Russia,this is probably due to very high lobbying by Americans, where as America who consider nations as use and throw materials just like they used Pakistan during afghan and soviet war and they just don't care about them now...
