India is not concerned about Chinese. Chinese problems were created by congress. BJP will resolve that problem. India will not speak of Tibet or espouse its freedom. India will also not appoint a new Dalai Lama and hence end Chinese rivalry for ever.

Maldives is an extension of Lakshadweep and will be taken back, even without the people if necessary. Chinese don't have any base in Maldives. KSA is planning to have a base there. Maldives is an obvious problem along with pakistan and Bangladesh. There is not much that can be done about it via reason or dialogue. Situation is above dialogues

The only problem with China is Tibet issue and dalai Lama. So, yes, once it is resolved, the quarrel ends.

China's is highly dependent on sea routes for its oil needs. Major of it comes through the Strait of Malacca where 40% of World Trade and 70% of China exports happens.
China wants to seek more options for its trade routes.
It is aiming for Pakistan's Gwadar as the hub for energy resources and other important resources, especially from Africa .... so it is not just as simple as it looks like everything interconnected
further Maldives has already endorsed the Belt Road Initiative.
Beijing has made large investments in infrastructure projects in the Maldives since the present government led by President Abdulla Yameen came to power following the ouster of pro-India former President Mohamed Nasheed.
