Hindutva respects the local culture . In south and north east people will continue to eat beef and vote for BJP . In hindi heartland people will continue to not eat beef and vote for BJP .
Beef is mummy in hindi heartland and yummy in other parts of India (like south and north east)

Only keralites eat beef...hindus in remaining 3 states dont...they worship cow.

I know plenty of Hindus from Tamil Nadu who eat beef.

Either way, even if it's only one state it still proves that beef lynchings is over hatred of Muslims and not any real religious sentiment since you know... Hindus in Kerala are eating beef and no Hindus are getting lynched.

I know plenty of Hindus from Tamil Nadu who eat beef.

Either way, even if it's only one state it still proves that beef lynchings is over hatred of Muslims and not any real religious sentiment since you know... Hindus in Kerala are eating beef and no Hindus are getting lynched.

I had a really good friend growing up who was Hindu, this was before I learned about Hindutva and what not, who was, looking back, the most Hindutva person I have ever met in real life.

But dude LOVED his beef burgers.
So even some Hindutvas love to eat beef... which again, proves that their ideology is based on hatred of Muslims more than anything else.

Obviously, we are no longer friends since you know... Hindutva and all that.

Yesterday Ashok Chawan wanted govt to confiscate gold from temples and distribute it to poor people - that is Indian secularism.

I am all for removing this farce and become a Hindu nation.
In fact declaring ourselves a Hindu nation is the only way to be "truly secular".

Which hindus man? Dalits eat beef...thats not a secret...you will find an odd hindu like rishi kapoor or ranbir kapoor eating beef just like one can find an odd muslim eating pork...those are exceptions not norm.

I am not talking about corruption.
I am talking about the brazenness of Indian seculars & secular parties in targeting Hindus and hinduism.

Secularism means Govt stays out of religion, YES, Indian govt does stay out of affairs of Church, mosque & Gurudwara & does not tax their income.
On other hand, temples are governed and looted by govt & on top it temple income is also taxed.

If that makes sense to you, please do explain to rest of us Hindus.

dalits are part of hindu religion almost 25 percent , apart from dalits people from high caste hindus eat beef .
brahmins avoid eating it . jains are nonvegetarians but they are exporters of beef to middle east.

there are some muslims and hindus in both communities who hate each others , but majority who lives in villages side by side live amicably , problem starts when voting starts on basis of religion . but majority of hindus want peaceful coexistence in india .

We should not throw the baby out with the bathwater. If government controlling the temples is the issue, then we should fight to change that. How does discarding secularism solve anything?

Also, we need to be careful what we wish for. There have been many fake swamis who have cheated people in the name of religion. Sometimes government control needs to be seen as necessary evil.

This is not universally true. The food habits vary from region to region. Many Brahmins are not vegetarians.

jain religion prohibits killing of live things , it is in their religion , most of the jains don't eat food which is prepared using onion and garlic . so nonvegetarian food is forbidden in jain religion , may be modern young jains eat meat when not in jain fraternity .

Indians think we are mocking them, but we know the nature of Hindutva, we have been warning you for a long time. It's gotten to the point where even International media is paying attention.

For your own sake, don't go down this stupid road. It leads to nowhere good.

indians should not mix religion with politics .
yes mixing religion with politics has made pakistan hotbed for religious extremist group , this has resulted in violence against minorities and sometimes other muslim sects .
