Promoting tourism is not rocket science.
Even in India there are specific properties where locals can't go unless they have a foreign passport or special permission. You either decide to serve foreigners properly (cater to their specific lifestyle) or stop pretending.
There are no properties as such but certain areas where Russians and Israelis go - in Goa and Himachal, I've heard of this happening. Can you name specific properties in India ?
Ok... how much did you pay? People usually dont stay in sonargaon as it is run by government with sub standard service.I have stayed at the Sonargaon and Westin.
Well those are couple of Food restaurants etc, which is visit by Israelis, Indians can go now after Someone pointed out the sign board and its removed. There are no properties as such but certain areas where Russians and Israelis go - in Goa and Himachal, I've heard of this happening.

Don't know about Sonargaon as it was an official trip, Westin was around 150 AUD/day.
Old story, Both kasol café / Japanese etc was done by pvt people without Any govt. Sanctions, once this is bring notice to Govt. These posters are removed and anyone can go anywhere. This is rather OT for this thread which is discussing Bangladesh tourism, and I will not be discussing tourism in India.

You can't separate India from filth. Then there will be no India as we know.I think that's gotta do with ensuring the quality of service. One of my relatives found a dead cat in his room at The Oberoi in Mumbai and according to him, it was one of the most luxurious hotels in the city.
I guess having a "No Indian" zone makes the staff to be more dedicated at ensuring quality service since they know only foreigners will be visiting them who have a higher demand for quality service than Indian consumers. It could also be a strategy to attract the customers.
