It's an ugly reality

There is many issues here. First is the blasphemy law but then we also have the public which has got so coiled that they will kill at the slightest percieved insult to Islam. When we become judge, jury and executioner all delivered in minutues then we have gone back to stone age. For now the lasphemy law makes little differance as the public just dish out their own version of mob justice.

GoP is protector of Blasphemy Law

Honestly the last thing I would trust is Islam in the hands of GoP. Islam is too important to be trusted to a corrupt and decrepit government. Look at how GoP mucks up everything and you trust Islam in the hands of such a corrupt entity?

That itself is the highest insult to Islam that I can think of - placing NS as guardian of Islam.

In fact it was a good thread and a good discussion. Blasphemy law is not a God given decree, it can be debated. It has been debated many times on PDF so this thread closure was unfair.

@CHACHA"G" has misunderstood the OP who said people in Pakistan do not pray 5 times, they lie, they are corrupt but they don't waste a chance to punish others. Nowhere were prayers mocked.

It will hardly be worth visiting this forum if important political / legal issues cannot be debated.

I don't want the previous mod to handle this case but someone completely independent as there's no conflict of interest.

I was discriminated upon nationality, hold no right to talk on such matters, faith got questioned, 'visa' status, take benefits (LOL), Country I reside in, apparently I was mocking 'prayers' too - all this could have easily reeled bunch of angry birds at me. Besides that other members were also discriminated based on their location.

I don't care about the strike - ban me. It doesn't change that I don't think its biased and I'm entitled to that.
