Why dont pakistani politicians fix infrastructure

Why get rid of nawaz who was severely criticized for concentrating on Infrastructure ? Ppl basking in cpec forget under who cpec got a concrete shape.
nawaz was involved in anti state activities too :) . jindal group and dawn leaks are prime example.

We need to stop making excuses about corruption this and that

We need to witness just next door to Iran which is at least a second world standard land

We should compare ourselves with the middle easterners in Gulf lands, Turkey, Iran not with India or Afghanistan
sindh is shit and khi is like a big land fill!

Most people are glad they're Pakistanis but a lot of people want good housing, plenty of food, good roads, less pollution, learning how to be advanced without being westernized and still retaining Islamic value systems too

We need to make it a requirement that any politician that wants to be elected has to have bettered their province in a way that it has forwarded their living standards.

Pakistanis should not have to go to Gulf lands or to western lands

They should have all the qualities of life and family values instilled in Pakistan and have all the luxuries that are given in many other lands too

That is the dream, and we are trying to make it a reality just some stumble here and there but we will get there IA.

Infrastructure development, especially in Public domain, is a byproduct of a larger policy and administrative sphere. It is not that those in power have not focused on infrastructure development, look how far we have come as compared to couple of decades ago. However, other problems have come up as well, so the cumulative result is not what we wanted earlier but improvements are there.

Because infrastructure isn't the problem. At least not the kind of infrastructure that Pakistanis have in mind = hard infrastructure. Soft infrastructure, capabilities, and resources should be developed. They're much less expensive and provide a greater return than any metro or motorway or even new walls for schools could ever provide.

But this problem isn't a Pakistani problem alone, it's a problem for all democracies. Democracies lead to populist policies which go against the economic and developmental needs of a country. See nakaam leagues' 'development'.

All I want is for Pakistan to be clean and I can't even have that.

Pakistanis are selfish by nature, they will keep their houses clean and throw the rubbish literally outside their homes, I saw it some many times in Karachi, nice big houses surrounded by heaps of shit, the lower class areas are even worse they have no problem living in shit, how hard is it for a community to get together and clean their areas? Its no surprise some Pakistanis with a bit of money want to live in guarded areas.
