What the hell it has to do with TANKS?alkhalid is auto loader, it has capacity to load 8 missiles at a time, its air conditioned, it has reflective shields,
I dont know why to be true, since I am concern over why do pak army have all type of 4x4. jeeps, defender, Mitsubishi etc
jis general ko jo pasand aa gay, kharid li.....uske baap ka jo paise hai...
professionally all over the world, for effective and efficient mobility officers use only one type of vehicle, also its cost effective and maintenance is easy, unlike in Pakistan army.
PA main MBT is the Al-Khalid (AK1) and has a standing requirement for 1200 units. about ~350 have been delivered.
the T-80UD was a 'stop-gap' requirement until the AK was approved and inducted by the PA. ~300 are in the inventory.
the Al-Zarrar is not a MBT even though it is called as such. its a medium-tank - main purpose of the A-Zarrar is to train tank crews for the AK1. until we dont have enough AK1 or 11's in our inventory, the Al-Zarrar makes up the tank numbers. ~300-600.
why do you think Al-Zarrar is not a MBT? its roots can be traced to the type-59 and that can be linked to t-54/55 which is widely considered one of the first MBTs in the world, sure it took plenty of lessons from the medium tanks of WW2 that were produced in the USSR but non-the-less it is still a MBT
