Imran Khan is actually quite liked by Indians afaik.
Sikhs really admire him for opening up Kartatrpur Sahib for instance, also remember him giving respect to Ranjit singh statues and such. His term is the lowest for insurgencies stemming from Pakistan as well, Kashmir is enjoying the most peaceful times since the 80's even after removing 370, and rest of India terrorism is zero at this point. There was no uptick or new actions taken by him.

His antagonizing USA was an accidental benefit to India, without usa support Pakistan becomes far less adversarial, add to that the current upheaval which isnt good for Pakistan, but removes focus from Kashmir and India letting it absorb kashmir via immigration and infrastructure development.

All in all, he ended up being good for India and that's what Indian govt should be seeing as well...

Indian Hindu establishment will hate any leader in Pakistan that sets a higher moral standard as a leader. Its not about Imran Khan's threats or beating that India got in 2019. Its his unbreakable credibility, honesty and bravery . Indians know they will not be able to match that.

In the past 70 years India's hindu establishment has hidden behind the low life, characterless, corrupt leaders in Pakistan to establish their moral authority in India. Every time someone in India points out to the corrupt snakes running India, the snakes will point to Pakistan and say look what they got there and we are much better than them. This helps them keep their hold on their population specially groups like Sikhs and Muslims. Money and good economy is not enough to hold a country together.

Mere presence of Imran Khan shatters these basis of India's hindu establishment. If Imran Khan succeeds and Pakistani state turns into a state of principles run by law with good moral standards then it will remove anarchy from Pakistan and Indian Muslims will get ideas i.e. why can't we join them or have a country of our own?

This will also cause problems for west as people in other Muslim countries will get ideas. So they all are terrified of Imran Khan or any honest leader in Pakistan.

This explains why the humans of dirtiest morals in Pakistan get respect and backing of the west.

It's not just a single tweet by a rando, it's part of a concerted effort involving the entire Indian media and "amenable" section of Pakistani media, estb. and literally the entire Pakistani polity minus Imran Khan's party.

Sucking up to India for subscribers and likes and you tube algorithm dollars is now one of Pakistan 's largest cottage industries for its educated but unemployed youth. It makes me sad because I wonder what if my grandparents had been muslim in 1947 and bought into Jinnah's ideology? Today maybe my kids would be making reaction videos to put food on the table.
