India takes Muslims in cricket, where the mafias are extremely powerful, only as bowlers and not as batboys or keepers for obvious reasons of hatred against Islam and Muslims.

Muslims play sports on local grounds where possible, hoping, hopelessly, that the government guys would take them in national teams. .

These Kashmir* journals make my blood boil. Who the f* pays them to publish such nonsense? Some two months back, there was one quoting Owaisi that Indian Muslims would support Pak in a war! I'd be seriously interested in the source of their funding.

Selections in sports are made by the state sports committees from where sportsmen goes to national level.

Seems the author is taking about giving more funds to the sportsmen.

If there is more funding then even sportsmen from minority communities can participate . Once the funding is received then comes the talks about selection on merit basis. Atleast in the name of minority community funding will come from both state and central.
