500,000 tribals make no decisions on future of BD at all which has 165 million population. They are rapidly being absorbed into mainstream BD society.

Because we have a great friend who has tendency to annex sovereign countries (Hyderabad and Sikkim ). They do so because they believe that the whole Asia was Akhand Bharat , so they aim to devour all Asia in their wet dreams . So the wet dream may never come true , that's why Bangladesh ( as well as other nations ) maintain a military.

Surely after all you are supa power. However do you know how hard to annex a country with a hostile population toward your country? Do you have slightest idea that if your country even try to stay longer by violating the order of Mujib to leave, what would happen?

That time no other country recognized Bangladesh other than your master Soviet? It would be proven that India annexed East Pakistan and the result would be withdrawal of support of your master Soviet. So yes maybe our independence should be fought long after your tried to annex us, with a doom of your indian union. Soviet wouldn't keep supporting you if you proved with your action that you want to annex East Pakistan instead of helping them liberate.

Thankfully your policy makers aren't the poor a.ss.hole like some of you, and that's why india is surviving as a country.

False, CHT enjoyed absolute autonomy teetheing on the edge of sovereignty during British times. Prior to that, the power centre varied between the Twipras and the Arakan kings.
British were definitely to be blamed for the mismanagement of CHT. They bifurcated the area into two parts, one joining with the Lushai hills inhabited by the Mizos, their archenemy and the rest attached to Bengal.

It's a blessing instead of curse I think. Do you know why? Because you have only the shiliguri corridor to maintain contact with NE. That's the reason you asked for transit through Bangladesh so that you can supply goods from mainland.

Assume if you want to attack from 3 side, what is going to happen? Can you maintain the supply of military logistics through the tiny corridor so easily?

And also you can't attack Bangladesh from three sides, because geography is the main obstacle.

Lolzz. Your leaders were not in position to decide anything in 1971. They all were on mercy of Indira Gandhi. Most of your population was in favour of India and were into no position to fight back against India.
Russians was in fully favour of Indira Gandhi whatever decision she made on Bangladesh. Lucky you that she had no ill intentions apart from your liberation .

I am quoting from the official site of the Chakma Autonomous District Council in West Mizoram, the areas were attached to the Lushai Hills for administrative and revenue purposes- this action(amongst others in the Bengal part of CHT) had ramifications for the native inhabitants which continue to this day- which i would rather not mention here on PDF.

And in 1891, Demagiri and adjoining areas were merged to the North and South Lushai Hills for Administrative purposes. As a result, the Chakma Kingdom had to forgo its land and subjects beyond the rivers Thega and Sajek.
