Arrey bhai !!! people whining about womne status in West dont get the simple fact that in west women can single handedly stand up against the system and fight to change it and win.
Violence against women exists in every society. But in middle east and even in South asian countries, it is institutionalised.
I can show countless examples where women in west have taken up fight against gov and won.
Stupid customs like raped women should live with accused is down right humiliating to the women and goes against basic human rights given to any one.
The argument that women in middle east are at better status than in west is filled with ignorance and out right dumb
