WHY DO SO MANY AMERICANS FEAR MUSLIMS? DECADES OF DENIAL ABOUT AMERICA’S ROLE IN THE WORLD.

. .
I have worked with many Americans, none I have spoken to "fear" Pakistanis. But then again they were not your average American :P .

.
Regardless of policies to be taken
The popular narrative is the reignition of the crusades. Trump may be the face of this new government but the real manipulator is steve bannon. He is to Islam what both hitler and his cabal were

If Muslims in America want to know exactly what is to happen to them if congress does not act- they need only read history from 80 years ago

.
but not very likely to happen under Trump.
Trump is the guy who can do a U-turn wrt to polices in ME. He is certainly not carrying any baggage others have. Only question is whether it will be for better or worse. Problem with ME is that no one had the guts to call a spade a spade but only wanted to benefit from the situation.

.
Despite America proven to be anti Muslim and racist. There are certain element of Pakistanis and Pakistanis American still being pro American, trying to convince whole Pakistanis how good American to Pakistan and serving their CIA agent by denouncing China.

He has been certainly unpredictable thus far in his foreign policy claims. :D

(It is going to be a long four years.)

Yes thats true, need a joker in the pack (not the batman type!).
fools tread where angels fear, some times you need them to break the impasse or explore the unknown. The so called angels have not delivered so far and they lack courage to take the decision.

We will know in another 6 months whether he can complete his term or not. In all probability republicans might run the show making him a lame duck president.

USA is a country of laws, and it shall remain so, no matter what Twit-in-Chief is in the White House.

Again people are making assumptions that the average citizen can make a distinction between Pakistani's and other countries in the region.

That's like asking the typical Pakistani their opinion of Brazilians' vs Argentinians.

The number of people from Pakistan in the US is relatively tiny compared to other groups.
I'm sure most people have never met somebody from Pakistan. They have no basis to create an opinion. If Pakistan makes a news blurb most people are not even perking up their ears.

It is true, because most Americans are mainly busy with their work, their debts and paying their monthly bills, watching football or soaps in the evening.. they have full stomachs and free minds, while this is good for health it leaves them very vulnerable to mind control and media influence.. The US is a specialisation country, and the top political, industrial, Military and economics brass are the ones trusted with governance of the happy go lucky mainstream Americans.. So when this top brass wants the US to accomplish some objectives and needs a popular support for it, it "orders" the media to get into action, and might even do some small and limited false flag operations to reinforce the message in those clear and spongy/gullible minds of the average Americans, who by the way put all their trust in their leaders and representatives in the US congress and their mass-media.. It was thus very easy to frame Muslims in the US after doing it all over the Western world and with the Muslim's sectarian conflicts in the middle east, starting with Afghanistan and Iraq..while aiming at captivating the attention of the American masses with these external and internal negative images of Muslims, they had instilled some kind of fear from Islam in general and orthodox Islam in particular in the Americans' minds, since the US and its Western allies had stated many times that they wanted to mold Islam to their liking.. So one can see this instilled fear in the US masses against Muslims as a poof that they are working hard towards this objective of molding Islam to suite their culture..and policies..

America like any super power has over reached and acted unfairly in pursuit of its own interests in the Muslim world....but it has done a LOT worse things in South America and parts of Asia and Africa. The difference is in the reaction to perceived high handed behavior.

Japan that had a nuclear bomb dropped on it, Vietnam had terrible chemical weapons used against it by the US, in Chile the most unsavory dictators were propped up in place by the US, Africa had millions of slaves kidnapped and transported to the new world. The British and the French before them were not much better. But all these "victim" countries could all eventually find a way to work with the US ( or the British or the French) and GET OVER IT.

The reaction of the ME and surrounding areas, is different to that from the rest of the world and it is uncompromising reaction that will cause the ME to continue burning in the foreseeable future. I don't see how you can win by taking on not only a super power by the rest of the world in perpetual medieval asymmetric warfare.

What the US did in Palestine is not so much worse than what they did in west Africa to create Liberia, yet Liberia and west Africa have a good working relationship with the US.

The world is not always fair. It seems a little immature and ultimately self destructive to carry a grudge forever.

Yup, do you have any idea how hard it was to get a US Green Card/ Visa/ Citizenship.

We Pakistani Americans owe the CIA for the sacrifices they've made to get us into America.

Also apparently the millions of Chinese who happily move to this "racist" country find it much more tolerable than China. They aren't lining up to go back.

Media coverage is definitely a big part. Even supposedly liberal/centre-leaning media like MSNBC and CNN often repeat things like "they hate our freedom", failing to cover the actual reasons and motivating factors behind terrorism in any meaningful way. So the audience concludes that Muslims must be the problem.

I don't deny that they are problems within Muslim countries, and many are linked to religious extremism. But the root cause, ultimately, is political. The support for regime change rhetoric and constant interventionism by the US media also needs to stop. It caused most of the problems in the first place, and now its making them worse.

Just look at the coverage of the recent missile strike in Syria. They were practically cheer leading for more bombing. They spent more time on the 'beautiful pictures of our fearsome armaments' than they spent discussing the negative consequences of such actions. Ridiculous.
