Why do BRICS mistreat russia so badly and don´t stand by it?

You can read alot about BRICS here and how they should stand united. But simple fact is, that both China and Brazil icecold use russias current situation to push deal through which russia would never had agreed under normal circumstances.

Take the china - russia gas deal. China tried for years to get this contract under this ridicolous low price and russia did always denie to sign the contract. Now under western sanctions Putin signed it. The deal is so unfortunate for russia, that it even pays money to deliver gas to China.

Bloomberg notes that Gazprom needs to sell at a price of around $13.50 per million Btu to make the yet-to-be-developed pipeline and natural gas fields profitable. But, it appears Russia may be willing to eat the costs to get the deal done.

Vladimir Putin would like the world to think that the deal would be a coup for Russia. It would demonstrate to Europe that Russia has other customers hungry for its energy resources, and that Russia does not fear a confrontation with the West over Ukraine. And if Russia's Asian customers pay in Euros, Russia is also showing that it does not fear even the heaviest of moves that the U.S. would be able to muster. Still, Russia getting the deal done by caving to China on price would not actually be a show of strength, it would demonstrate Russia negotiating from a position of weakness.

Another fact is, that latin american countries demand moon prices from russia now for delivering fruits and other agricultural products.

I would expect allies to be loyal towards each other. It is interesting to see how China makes russia its bitch and latin american simply robs it.

Similar is happening here.If China made such a deal then there will enough support from China for Russia.

I dont think so.Perhaps they may suffer some difficulties in short term.But in long term it would become a golden opportunity for them.BRICS and Iran are already cleared they wouldnt support the sanctions ordered by West.
Perhaps they cant get enormous profit they got earlier .But still they will get other economic and strategic benefits.
Russians are self esteemed people .They dont succumb to outsiders pressure.

actually they do. Otherwise the societ union would not have collapsed. I think its a good thing you rob them. It works perfectly fine for us. We create pressure on the income side and you on the spending site. A weak russia is good for all partners.

As for Iran, iran is the biggest rat of all, claiming nonstop to fullfill gas delivery if russia cuts gas exports to EU.

The simple fact, there are no "alliances", every country looks for its best interest, BRICS is nothing more than "contacts" within the countries and a few easier ways to sell goods and look after each other but ultimately do you really think that China knows anything about life in Brazil, its hugely opposite in culture and every aspect in life and there is no alliance or partnership so to speak, its just all about exploiting other countries where they are weak and then getting exploited by them where you are weak.

Alliances are all bullshit, USA would invade the UK if they had a good reason to and China would invade Russia if they felt the need to, we are in a relative quiet period and I think it will last for atleast another 40/50 years before any serious conflict occurs and when it does it will definitely be in the east. The only lasting alliance in this world is between the UK and Portugal which has been going for about 700 years and even that should have broken on several occasions.

If only we had one open world with free trade for all, I think there would never be a war again and as people we all get on well most of the time its just our governments that cause us pain.

This is a stupid move, because china will readily use its chance comrade. There will be a point where you must decide on which site you stand. Do you support Russia or EU / USA? You can´t have it both ways. You are either with us or against us. We are your biggest trade partner. We invest alot into india and support your space program on so many levels.

For example we give you contracts to send some euroepan satellites into space, something we could easily do ourself.Or your Mars probe. It consists mostly from european parts we made for an earlier mars craft and gave your agency.
