Why didn’t the Hindus of India ever defeat an invading army!

Farming civilization is far stronger than nomads.
Yes, the Mongols did rule China for 89 years, but do you know how many nomads were exterminated by the Chinese? There are more than 5000 ethnic groups with historical records alone.
Not true. Read Ibn Khaldun's Muqaddimah, Nomads consume more meat which makes them stronger. Their lives are also harder.

.
The British and other Europeans came as traders first before they ever thought of conquest. Pray tell why they would setup trading outposts if we were so poor and had no industry? Is there any actually sources you are basing your claims on?
They started colonizing because their where not much natural resources in Europe

.
That's true. The invading Army was airlifted directly in present day India bypassing the present day Pakistan. May be that's why Pakistan was never ever invaded in its 5000 year of history.
So u do accept india is following ancient pakistan religion culture etc?

You don't know nomads.
As long as the Han people in the great wall do one thing, the nomads will die in large numbers. That is to ban the tea trade.
Nomads lack fruits and vegetables. Without tea, they can hardly live to 30. They will soon get sick and die. Han people usually support some nomads to attack another group, or cut off trade and force them to attack the Great Wall.
The Han people also use the Great Wall to block the metal trade. Often the nomads have to fight the Han people with weapons made of bones. The armor of the Han people is like this.

And you think it's wrong that nomads have high protein content. You can search for a Chinese food, Bean curd. It contains very high protein and is very cheap. Finally, the height of the Han nationality is much higher than that of the Mongolian nationality.

PS: The Huns who destroyed the Roman Empire. The Turks who perished Byzantium. They are all losers outside the Great Wall. He fled to Europe in order to avoid total destruction.

Mongols are cool, you can say whatever about Hans

But mongols are considered cool around the globe, you can't take that away from them 😁

India is a sedentary civilization, eating grains and lentils. the Mongols ate raw meat and were in better shape. war simply wasn't a part of the culture due to sheer geography. Also, the caste system didn't select for meritocracy, thus fostering a stagnant inept military.

The same shit happened to the Chinese and the Mongols.

furthermore, the Pakistanis are a derivative of the same sedentary culture, you can say all you want about how you guys were the descendant's conquerers, sure even if that is true, nobody wants to live rough and tumble, there is comfort in being sedentary.
SC is too devided, too many divisions

Castes, clans, ethnicity, language, religion, rich, poor, dark skinned, light skinned

So everyone took advantage of it, and instead of trying to bridge gaps or something like what happened in China like "han" ization of people group

Exact opposite happened in SC where people themselves divided each other in castes and as time went on more divisions started to take place

Pak is doing ganguization of the country where everyone can cammunicate in Urdu(I dislike Urdu- all for national unity but with a different language, but the conendrum is it's 70 years of investment so it's too late to stop) , same religion, clans/tribes are slowly becoming irrelevant

But easier to do in a smaller country tbh

Yes, the Mongols are very cool, and the Han people admire them. They were the only nomadic people who broke the great wall without the help of Han traitors and ruled the Han people.

The Han people in the Song Dynasty made serious strategic mistakes. Mongols fought with Nvzhen. The emperor of Song Dynasty judged that Nvzhen was stronger only according to the number of soldiers and weapons. Therefore, he chose to ally with the Mongols to destroy the Nvzhen.

The emperor of the Song Dynasty did not expect that Tiemuzhen, the Mongolian emperor, was very powerful. He was able to unite all nomads to attack the Song Dynasty. The Mongols were also smart. They chose to obtain resources from Central Asia and Europe to attack the Song Dynasty. In 1234, the Song Dynasty went to war with the Mongols. By 1260s, the Mongols had conquered large territories such as the Middle East and Poland. In 1267, the Mongols fought a decisive battle with the Song Dynasty. The Mongol army carried weapons from the Middle East, European armor, HuiHe stone throwing machine, and even mercenaries from Germany and Poland...I really want to see the expression of the general of the Song Dynastyo_O.
The song army was defeated. In 1279, the Song Dynasty perished.

Therefore, the failure of the Song Dynasty was not that the farming people lost to the nomadic people. It was the Han people lost to the Mongols.
The Mongols in 1279 were not nomads.
However, I think this is a very fair thing. The Han people slaughtered the grassland people for thousands of years by despicable means. The debt will be repaid one day. The Han people rely on weapons and tactics to bully the weak. One day, more stronger people will punish them in the same way.

If you look at this war, you will know how far the combat effectiveness gap between the soldiers of the farming nation and the soldiers of the nomadic nation is. Bone weapons are hard to beat steel weapons.

5000 Han infantry from the local army (It is the second rate army of the Han nationality, and the first-class army is the guards army of the emperor). VS 110000 cavalry directly under the Hun king.

You sure some Pakistanis weren't Hindus?
However in Ferishta’s view, the Gakhars were a Indian tribe who resisted Mahmud of Ghazni invasion of India. Anandapal, son of Jayapala Maharaja of Punjab, “…with the Gakhars, and other warlike tribes…” forght a critical battle against the Muslim invader Mahmud of Ghazni in the Punjab in the year 1008. “Mahmud, having thus secured himself, ordered six thousand archers to the front to endeavour to provoke the enemy to attack his entrenchments. The archers were opposed by the Gakhars, who, in spite of the King’s (Mahmud of Ghazni) efforts and presence, repulsed his light troops, and followed them so closely, that no less than 30,000 Gakhars with their heads and feet bare, and armed with various weapons, penetrated into the Muslim lines, where a dreadful carnage ensured, and 5000 Muslims in a few minutes were slain.”

Caste system is the major reason IMO.

I try and see my shortcomings and improve on them. my family is extremely good in business and we have no formal military history after 1860s (Mutiny). so I joined the military and I came back and refocused on business. Know yourself and seek self improvment.

What about the Ghaznavids and the Mamluks

You must be eating the Chinese food they make here in the US. Just like with Indian food they remove the spices to appeal to the wider population.

The Mamluks were part of the Delhi Sultanate and the Ghaznavids didn't get much further than the Punjab, that's hardly conquering all of India.
The Greeks did not fail. Alexander the great defeated Porus and Western Punjab was part of his Satrapy. Punjab was ruled by Seleucus Nicator who was eventually defeated by Chandragupta Maurya.

Again, the Punjab is awfully small compared to the rest of the Indian sub-continent.

.
The bulk of fighting almost every time was concentrated in current day Pakistan. Invading armies found it difficult to invade further hence the south India mostly remained safe because of war fatigue of invading armies.
This doesn't explain the nearly continuous Bengal Sultanate (and henceforth Bangladesh) and neither short lived Kingdoms like Madurai Sultanates or even contestation of Deccan Sultanates and Vijayanagara Empire. Too much of a simplistic view.
The Greeks did not fail.
Arabs didn't fail by that logic, they got Sindh.
