Because China was poor and hungry after WW2. It has become richer only after USA allowed it to trade with the Western world. Now it will feed on smaller "friendly" countries in its neighborhood as it did in the glory days of its bygone empire.

Economic slavery is probably worse. Except for a few raw materials, what can Pakistan produce that China cannot supply better and cheaper?

No actually Destroying an entire culture under pretext of WMD is worse and using depleted uranium shells as a doctor you would know lot better.

I know anys news which brings sound growth or progress to Pakistan is very hard for you to digest, but unlike you I am not so pessimistic about the development.

I would support this development even if it means leasing gwadar for 100 years, at least it will provide a stable and sound example to other cities and shut the mouth of the losers who cannot see the Pakistan's bright future

Not just plain literacy based primary education (Which itself is declining which is shocking).....but actual massive skills training (especially manufacturing based vocational training).

Otherwise any amount of investment will eventually just create a bubble....that helps China (offload capacity + gain loan gravy train) way more than Pakistan.

Do you know if skills training is a large part of CPEC investment? I suspect not.
