I've read such silly reviews and analysis all my life:

1. 1980's - the world was certain that India was going implode with poverty.
2. 1980's - China's population is going to cross 2 billion and they'll have nothing to eat.
3. 1990's - No way that India can ever succeed as a prosperous nation.
4. 1990's - Ok, China can make stuff, but it can never compete!

Whatever......


Now facts:

1. 2030 China will be the at the apex of financial and human development.
2. 2030 India will be a close second to China, with rapid infrastructure development and prosperity.


Now the rest of the world in 2030:

3. Spain > Still recovering from the financial meltdown and the only thing working for them will be tourism.
4. Italians > IN DEFAULT - Will run out of excuses to be members of the new EU. In all probability they'll be drinking all the second tier wine themselves. Car industry would have been either bought out by the Chinese or Indians.
5. French > IN DEFAULT - Who cares? I guess, they'll still hate REST OF HUMANITY. Besides, the new fashion capital will be either Beijing or New Delhi. And their wine? Yanks already took care of that.
6. UK > No comments! They'll fly the first INVERSE UNION JACK when the local white population becomes a minority.
7. USA > US will be US, but they'd prefer staying back home, because no one else in the CIVILIZED WORLD would like to deal with them
8. JAPAN > Probably the population will be 70% of what it is, going by the rate they procreate

Additionally, you'll see Chinese and Indians running the world bank, IMF,......

But the privatization of economy is not what Chinese people really needs to continue the growth; it's the freedom of thoughts, speech, and the multi-party democracy. How can Chinese businesses innovate when the Chinese people are constantly told of what to think and what not to think?

The freedom of thoughts and speech is what China needs to advance to the next level, and the communists are blocking this.
