China will never attack Taiwan as long as they don't do something stupid. No Taiwanese is willing to die for ROC. They lost their purpose in fighting years ago. Today's Taiwanese won't and can't fight! A few of my Taiwanese friends told me most soldiers would surrender when China attacks and join the PLA.

Wow..I didn't know linyifu defected to PRC. OMG. He is well compensated and living a comfortable life. Before this, it was mostly PRC defecting to ROC, because of better living conditions but with 2 millions Taiwanese staying and working in PRC, I bet they know which place is nicer now. Well Mr. Lin was right, the only way for Taiwan to prosper and develop is under a unified Chinese state. This guy is a smart guy, one of the first Chinese econ graduates from Chicago U. Imagine the power we will yield, with TSMC technology, a giant market, and PRC funding, we will be the most technologically advanced chipmaker on earth.
