Why China didn't take 'Tibet's five fingers' for so many decades?

. . .
Read the question in the post you quoted.

you ask stupid questions

why was insurgency ravaging in north east since past 70 years????

do you think it was just some internal fissures???

no insurgency can ravage for 70 years without outside support

no go and figure out and study all the insurgencies in north east and come up with your own conclusion

and also post here a synopsis for every insurgency you found and with your conclusion

and dont bother me again

Why China didn't take 'Tibet's five fingers' (Ladakh, Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh) for so many decades?

My guess is the following three factors:

1. The difficult terrain of Himalayas

2. Issues of logistics and supply lines

3. Harsh cold climate of the region

China will need to dismember India just to take Southern Tibet. Else India will keep eyeing for revenge.

Not worth taking whole of Nepal -- too many Hindic tribe, only the North is Tibetic. Part of Nepal Tibetan have long paid taxes to Kathmandu instead of Lhasa, it would be more juriprudence to give to Nepal.

Leh is separated from Tibet by Karakorum ridges. Extremely difficult for Imperial Chinese to defend, once the British arrived. Now is different, but the loss of Leh is a done deal. Need to dismember Indian to take it back.
