Why Buddhists are targeting Muslims across Asia.

That is a nice statue though. Where is it located?

This statue of Guanyin is located in Hainan island, in south China:

She is a very popular deity in East Asia, there are a lot of statues of her in Korea and Japan as well.

One from Japan (where she is called Kannon):

Buddhism is dying. My parents were Chinese Buddhists (a part of Chinese folk religion), but me and my brother are both non-religious.

This pattern is repeating itself all over the world, I think it's natural for the children of Buddhists to become non-religious, especially in China which holds the majority of the world's Buddhists.

As their numbers shrink, their fear grows.
But I guess Chinese still follow the Confucius philosophy and I think that's the best part since it is wisdom that plays an important role in China's development.
BTW I didn't mean all Buddhists were violent but there has been a history of violence because I have been following this Admiral Yi's youtube channel that describes how Japanese and Koreans used to fight... Though it clearly appears that Japan was aggressor.

Yes Japanese were savage during WW2, but now look at their country. Their country is 2nd class. Japan doesn't even have a real military.

The only good thing about Japan is the economy and thats it.

I think that is a unfair statement. There are violent people everywhere.
I didn't say all Buddhists are violent but there has been a history of violence according to their own literature/history. Chinese themselves have stayed peaceful in the sense they did not occupy outside world.

Well. let's pay the due where it is due, Japan has spearheaded the technological advancement in the world for more than half century. They also have a lot good values but definitely after WW II they just become a US puppet with no dignity.

Japan at the time was inclined towards war. Japan was ruled by warlords who have been fighting since their childhood and with Japan united the samurai wanted to conquer more. Tokugawa was more intelligent than his predecessors and didn't go picking useless fights.

Japanese Empire is an indirect creation of the west. Western imperialism gave Japan a pretty bad example on how a superpower should be. If the west followed less forceful policies without unequal treaties and gunboat diplomacy then post Meiji Japan could have been less imperialistic

Thanks for adding to knowledge. I really lack knowledge about Japan's history as such though I just learned a few things about Korean history and their wars with Japan, one major motivation is that I spend some wonderful time in Korea and interacted with their researchers...except for the garlicky smell , I found everything positive there :)

Those who claims to be peaceful are not peaceful. Hindus have RSS, Buddhists have radical monks. Jihadis and Islamofascists who once had the monopoly of being the most brainwashed robots are amazed, shocked to see that, they have got good rivals dipped in fanaticism and aggression. If you fight for Ummah, they will fight for Hindutva Ummah (Akhand Bharat), if you call them Kuffar, they have branded you as Mlechchas and Bahlikas. Hinduism and Buddhism have radicalism grappling them.
