States of India are together because of shared culture and mutual interdependence on a lot of things and mutual goals.

And its massively in India's interest for BD to be prosperous is so that Bangladeshi's stop migrating to India. The only way to stop migration from BD to India is both hard and soft factors.

India has to reduce the ability of Bangladeshi's to enter India by physically securing its borders, and Bangladesh must be prosperous enough so that the motivation of Bangladeshis to come to India is reduced or removed.

If a Bangladeshi calls Indian economy as failed, would you ever give it any credence in real life?
