in the same argument i don't understand how you can trust saudi arabia, the nation that helped in collaspe of muslim dominance in the world stage, the nation whose people thought it would be cool to ram two towers thousands of miles away in the name of Allah, whatever we may say, america fabricated it and whatnot (true they did) but we cannot forget the involvement of the saudis in bringing down hell over muslims all ocer the world... i would rather live in a world of jewish dominance than in a hypocritic islamic dominance and subjugation of the poor
If you are asking for my personal opinion, I don't trust the Saudi Monarchy one bit. I am more in favor of maintaining good relationship with the likes of Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia and the likes.
Unlike with Israel, we already have an established relationship with Saudis with some economic gain for us in the form of remittance and investments. And finally the religious value Saudi Arabia has to the people of Bangladesh. That can't be ignored. What good is a country if it's people's emotional and religious sentiments are discounted?
Whether we like the Saudi Monarchy or not, unfortunately they hold the key to most important sites in Islam. So, we are having to tolerate the Saudi Monarchs for now.
