Why are Turks so nationalistic?

I guess when british India was divided, pakistan got its share of stuff n st*t

Pakistan started out with 90% of it's land sandy desert, mountains or green for agricultural puposes. The only main city of British India we had inherited was Lahore, add Peshawar, Bahawalpur and other minor cities as they were at the time, and compare that to India inheriting 95%of all the main developed cities....well....we have gotten quiteee far..

i dont want to sound mean, but in reality, you have just 500-300 years of civilisation, before that you are some barbarian horse rider tribes looting china and other civilizations, in contrast we have 10,000 years of civilisation, indus, harrapa, mehrgarh, taxila, Gandhara

you are not even fimiliar with your own history, modern turkey came into being from nomadic tribes from central asia, before that the land turkey acquires had different rulers and native people, so that history doesnt belongs to you

alexander the great fought what is now pakistan and got defeated from raja porus, so yeah we have older military history than yours and an incredible one too

Oh..sorry then ! I must have misunderstood you but 'Tribalism' of the sort that, I believe, your referring to isn't one of Pakistan's leading concerns. I would think that amongst concerns of a similar nature Feudalism probably is a very real concern ! In fact, Pakistan's founding father too talked about 'Islamic Socialism' where all these lands should have gone back to the People but unfortunately for the reasons I mentioned before - they didn't !

Dunno but that does sound about right ! My Grandfather says that they were under orders to use 'both sides of the paper' when doing any of their documentation and if anyone wasted even a single sheet they'd be severely reprimanded !
And because they were short of 'common pins' at that time...they'd use 'thorns' from the bushes in front of their building to keep papers together !

P.S He was a Structural Engineer in the British Indian Army who then transferred to the Pakistan Army at the time of the Partition and then latter to something called the MES in the Army ! Built cantonments all over...including the one at Mymensingh in Bangladesh and was responsible for the Lahore cantonment !
