If you watch Pakistani political talk shows regularly, one thing you will notice within a month that vast majority of them are liberal/left leaning, all famous anchors like Hassan Nisar, Kashif abbasi, Muhammad Malik, Mehar Bukhari, Rauf Klasra, Amir Mateen, Najam Shetty, Muneeb Farooq, Fareeha Idrees, Asma Sherazi etc. (almost all of them).

Now I am not saying being liberal/left leaning is bad, I just want to draw the attention of the Pakistanis on this unique phenomenon in Pakistani media that almost 90% of the leading anchors in Pakistani talk shows tend to be from one segment of society in Pakistan. They are passively pushing their liberal/left views on the general public and there is no one in the TV media to counter their arguments. We don't have sensible conservative talk show anchors on Pakistani news channels. I think guys like "Oryan Maqbool Jan" cannot be considered to a voice of conservatives as he is more of a religiously motivated person and criticizes things like "patriotism" and "loyalty towards Pakistan only" which is the case with all the religious nutjobs.

I think we need to have more "non-religious" conservative voices on Pakistani TV talk shows particularly as anchors who are proud to be Pakistani patriots and loyal to Pakistan without any kind of guilt.

Finally yes I agree on this but we need also diaspora folks who worked in the International media to be hired more emphasis on English Language content for audiences abroad I agree they must be nationalists so far Indus News is doing ok job I think the dude from Express News who hosted the comedy show is running it Aftab Iqbal

Wrong question.

The right question should be: Why are most of Pakistani political talk show anchors are "vultures" and "opportunists" with no moral values at all.

They have nothing to do with liberalism.

Absoloutely correct. They are liberal, secular, westernised with zero knowledge or understanding about Islam.

It is bad and with respect to Pakistan it is worst.

Why majority of secular belongs to elite class of the society? The reason is the fact that they dont have any religious education with little religious motivation. They just hear or read some basic things about Islam and assume that they have mastered or understood all fundamentals of Islam. Majority of our elite are not practicing Muslims which further alienates their children from Islam. For them religion is nothing more than delusions of poor people, who find solace in the shape of God.

Basically, desi secularism is fueled by lack of religious education and inability to grasp fundamentals of Islam.

I think it has to do with the funding
It has more to do with our education system.

Yes indeed, most of them change channels on regular basis (most probably because of money) and aren't much loyal to even their channels for any long time. Changing channels so frequently does show that most the them are not much into the concept of "loyalty" which for me is a very important trait of a human being's psychology.

There's a need for a right-wing channel, something like Fox news on steroids. I feel we could do a good job of it hahaha.

In Pakistan, it is not about left vs right ideologies rather sellouts who peddle foreign agenda vs patriotic.

Not sure you can group Moeed Pirzada with Asma Shirazi.

Abbasi, Malik, Fareeha and Pirzada are nationalist Pakistanis IMO. Asma and Mehar Bukhari are your typical left leaning anti-establishment types.

Well may be Moeed Pirzada is different than them but others are in the same group particularly Muhammad Malik, he is definitely liberal/left type.

Yes I think you are right Moeed pirzada shouldn't be clubbed with them but still he is a liberal on most issues but just not on the patriotism/loyalty to the country, I will take his name out of list.

Not necessarily right wing but just like the PTV of 80s, all our famous national patriotic songs were made by PTV in 80s which are still famous to this day.

Examples

These are all part of my childhood memories from 80s PTV and I am sure they are still famous to this day. PTV of 80s used to give us a heavy dose of Patriotism through these melodious meaningful patriotic songs.
