I think it's pretty self explanatory.
So Muslims killing Muslims on these bases is equally self-explanatory, then?

I'm just being straight forward.
The Shahada was thoroughly explained and which and to who each word was in reference to.
Would a person who's claiming Buddha as Jesus's father be considered a Catholic Christian?
To each his/her own.
So can we exclude Shias as Muslims too?

Did I criticize you? I just clarified to the sect you were referring to.
Well Shia sect is divided into many different groups. Those who call Hazrat Ali (RA) God are not Muslims doubtlessly. But it shouldn't give us right to discriminate anyone.

I think the answer is no.
Lets call a spade a spade, you can identify with whomever you want.
Is that not the very basis they are excluded ?
By Pakistan, yes.
Then where are they included in mainstream Islam ?
By law? Or by Mullah?
By the muslim world in general ?
And how about you ? Do you consider them musilm? If yes on what basis ?
The Shahada says clearly, "There's no God but ALLAH, and Muhammad (PBUH) is the last/final Messenger/ Prophet of ALLAH."
The word last does not appear in the Kalima.
As long as there is no discrimination by law, all personal religious beliefs are worthy of the same respect.
Would you respect people who worship Hitler and make shrine for him in the middle of the city ?
لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله
lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh, muḥammadur-rasūlu-llāh
There is no god but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.
